Was there more than one Alexander Hill Gray.?

The traveler, writer, rosarian Alexander Hill Gray died in 1927 at age 91. He bred at least two different roses, one named for himself, another for his son Alister Stella Gray. Both he and his son married a woman with the name of Marcella. Alexander Hill Gray wrote at least two books, one published in 1875 and his last published in 1925, two years before his death.
