I have staight male lineage back to Hendrik Arderne 1095-1166

I am new to wikitree  and I have used other geneology site to assist in my journey . I am back to my 30th great - grandfather and the trail has gone cold on other sites   anyone who could help it would be greatly appreciated

Before Henry II is a dark age in England.  Courts didn't keep records and only one year's Exchequer roll has survived.  Only the most important and well-known families can be traced.

Trouble is, there are a lot of books that got their "facts" from other books without realizing that the other books were full of tosh.

According to the author, the Henry you mentioned was the son of Siward and Cecily.

I have no idea how accurate the line is, which is always important to consider. This is not currently on Wikitree.
