A caption flanked left and right, by two Union Flags, Those Flags would not have been in existence during the Great puritan Migration, 1620 - 1640. The Flag displayed on the left,  is the 1801 version of the Union Jack or Union Flag of Great Britain, When Northern Ireland Joined the United Kingdom of Great Britain, on 1 January 1801. This flag includes of the cross of  St Patrick, a Red Saltire on a white Field.  The red saltire's association with Saint Patrick dates from the 1780s, when the Order of Saint Patrick adopted it as an emblem. This was a British chivalric order established in 1783 by George III. The Flag that was used between 1606 and 1801. was the Kings Standard, The flag consists of the red cross of Saint George, patron saint of England, superimposed on the Saltire of Saint Andrew, patron saint of Scotland. This flag was a Maritime flag.

The National Flag on the right of the caption is the flag of the of The United States. with the 50 Stars representing The 50 States.

On this day in 1777, during the American Revolution, the Continental Congress adopts a resolution stating that “the flag of the United States be thirteen alternate stripes red and white” and that “the Union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new Constellation.”

Yes they certainly should be. I've removed several images on profiles that were actually for other people. The PGM migrants emigrated from England to England. Shouldn't the flag be the same?

In this case it's redundant. PGM implies by it's nature, and title that these were immigrants so the migrating ancestor template is overkill in my opinion.

Hi Anne,

Yes  I agree, Can you remove the Flags. also the text is irrelevant. as to what flag to apply afterwards I would say none. The Flag Ordered by James VI - I in 1606 was of maritime use. it was not until 1707 a similar Flag gained the Armorial status of The United Kingdom of Great Britain.

I also could not find any information of Crown or Government involvement in the Governance of New England. and on the death of the first Governor of the Mayflower Compact. over the Winter of 1620 - 1621, William Bradford was elected Governor in May of 1621.

Most earlier ventures to the America's failed.

I just love this work

Your example is clear. However, this is not the example I would use. I'm Jewish, but I can't read Eastern European languages. I sometimes run into data that I think might work. So instead of adding data, I add images.
