How do we get rid of the half-sibling designation

We merged Maltby-189 and Maltbie-465 because they were listed as half sisters of each other.  Members in this family use both spellings.  I tried to follow four questions asked recently concerning this same problem but could not apply any suggestions to this particular situation.  How do I get Amanda
to be a full sister to all of the rest of the crew?

To solve your particular problem, Maltby-2793 and Maltbie-484 need to be merged.

Amanda and her siblings are linked to different father profiles who appear to represent the same person.  However, there is an obvious disagreement about the spelling of his LNAB so that should be sorted out among the interested PMs before merging.

how does one get rid of the half designation of a sibling when the unmerged match hasn't been removed. I could not remove the match I created today because the match was rejected . At least on my  version of an open profile I would like the siblings listed as full since the two "different" mothers are the same individual in my opinion. No conflicting information and information on both profiles taken from the dsame active surname site.

Beulah,

There's a duplicate of Amanda's mother husband:

Amanda is the only child attached to Daniel Maltbie-484.

In the meantime Esther's husbands are merged you can get rid of the [half] designation editing Amanda's profile replacing her father: [edit father] entering ID Maltby-2793.
