Should Lucy Corona be connected to Edward I as a daughter?

Saw a lot of skepticism about this on a online search, to disconnect or not?

Hi Lindsay,

From what I have read I would say that there is more reason to think that she was not the illegitimate daughter of Kind Edward I.  There are people who think she was but no impelling evidence has been provided.  I draw your attention to the following links:

I removed the link to Edward I.  There is no evidence to support this.

Good move Maryann :) I too have been down the Lucy Corona/Edward I road and that's the conclusion I came to as well. Way too debatable.
When you remove a disputed parent (or spouse), it's good to create a "Disputed Origins" section at the top of the profile and explain things, linking to the disputed profile. I've gone ahead and done that.

In the meantime, the rest of the profile needs cleanup because it still contains narrative claiming she was the illegitimate daughter of Edward.
Hi Jillaine,  I am working on the bio now.

Just as well I checked before I saved my changes to the bio or I would have wiped your out.
Hi, everyone --

I'm new to the Lucy - Edward party.

Internet is fun, and about the only way for us to research family history as travel to England, etc., is out of the question. So I'm wondering: the Baguley family history as far back as Robert Baguley -- is that pretty certain? The first family history I found stopped with him, then last night, I found one that began with his father (I guess), Nicholas, having b/d dates for him(1530-1558) and his father, Ralph (1500-1540), married to Cicely Massey. But after that, no dates -- and of course, the infamous Lucy-Edward connection another four generations back.

Then there's John Wake...

I see the Wikipedia pages are computer-generated text off the Peerage.com site, so not much help.
