LNAB Approvals

I have added a bunch of final LNAB's to the European Aristocracy Group page in the unnassigned, to collect them and not ask one by one, but I do want to gain approval for them--

Here is a list:

Hohenstaufen

Gwynedd

Dunkeld

Dreux

Bar

Reginar

Bigod

Blois

Bohun

FitzAlan

Wassenberg

Savoie

Lusignan

Clare

PLEASE CHALLENGE ANY ASPECT YOU QUESTION-- namely spelling (or language!) or alternate options for these houses/lines...

Also, if you like them all, just say so... I want to make sure people actually read these!

I've also added two houses: Windsor, which I'm managing, and Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, which is unassigned. I know that one is long, and is often just called the house of Glücksburg, but it seemed better to use the full name. Right?
I would vote Glücksburg as the LNAB... the other one is scary, lol...
Haha! It's scary? I'm not sure I agree with your reasoning on that one. :P
It is scary, to me. HA... Ok, is a better reason, that you said its commonly referred to as just Glücksburg?
Yeah, the Wikipedia article says it's called that "for short": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Gl%C3%BCcksburg

But I hesitate to use short forms. The official name is the longer one. And it's what's used on Prince Philip's Wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_Philip,_Duke_of_Edinburgh
LOL, whatever you choose is fine with me... I'm not managing that thing, though! LMAO

I'm suggesting Schwarzenberg as candidate LNAB's to the European Aristocracy Group

Blois, FitzAlan and Clare, definitely. On a side note, I though Bigod was what you said in the south before you beat your kids...

on the others, I don’t really know what they apply to... can you explain?

On already created categories you can click to see what they are... on the ones I proposed here are my "Reasons":

WikiTree ID’s are not necessarily the lowest or final but it’s an example I could find without searching forever, ha... I also chose LNABS with actual descent included over practically disconnected ones. If I didn’t say starts with, I did not decided that... Most of these married into the Plantagenet line, which is why I took the time to look up houses, lol.

Hohenstaufen-House LNAB- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Hohenstaufen starting with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederick_I,_Duke_of_Swabia {WTID: Hohenstaufen-37}
Dunkeld- House LNAB- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Dunkeld starting with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donnchad_I_of_Scotland {WTID: Dunkeld-48}
Dreux- House LNAB- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Dreux starting with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_I_of_Dreux {WTID: France-583}
Bar- House LNAB- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Bar starting with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederick_I,_Duke_of_Upper_Lorraine {WTID: Bar-30}
Reginar- House LNAB- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Reginar starting with Gilbert, 1st Count of the Maasgau – Couldn’t find him but this line {WTID Reginar-2}    CADET BRANCHES OF Montfort, Percy and Hesse-  House of Montfort
House of Percy, House of Hesse
Bigod- Family LNAB- Hugh Bigod and Maud Marshall’s family- {WTID: Bigod-1}
Blois- House LNAB- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Blois Not sure where to start but, this line {WTID: Blois-49}
Bohun- Family LNAB- Line that married Elizabeth Plantagenet (Plantagenet-533)- {WTID: Bohun-3}
FitzAlan- Family LNAB- Married Plantagenet-48 {WTID: FitzAlan-29}
Wassenberg- House LNAB- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reinoud_II_of_Guelders who married Eleanor of Woodstock (Plantagenet LNAB)- {http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Wassenberg-1} Not sure where to start or end this line, though.
Savoie- House of Savoy- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Savoy starting with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umberto_I,_Count_of_Savoy {WTID: Di_Savoia-2}
Lusignan- Family LNAB- Hugh X Lusignan and family
Clare- Family LNAB- Gilbert Clare who married Isabel Marshal

Gwynedd- Not sure where this one came from, to be honest

As a side note, we already have Percy but I suppose I will clearly mention intentions to use LNABS Montfort and Hesse for the cadet lines of Reginar, listed above

I think I will make a page for this as well... This is good info...

*PS. I like how you approved the family names! HA*
Re Gwynedd, was an early kingdom in Wales and Owain Gwynedd c1100-1170 was styled Prince of Gwynedd according to http://www.castlewales.com/owain_g.html
Gwynedd remains the name of a regional area in Wales, maybe you knew all this in which case I will get my coat :)
