More info about Zilpha Pipkin (b ~1777) and Polly Pipkin (Carroll County TN, 1830s)

I just learned that a Polly Pipkin signed, as a witness, a land deed, June 11, 1832, in which Elisha Fly sold 100 acres to John W. Cockrit (Cochran), in Carroll County, TN. Source being "Carrol Co., TN, Court Minutes 1826-1833". I'm curious about who this Polly was. It is the first time I've heard of a documented Pipkin-Fly connection other than Zilpha (Pipkin) Fly, who I've been trying to learn more about. Info about Polly Pipkin might help me work out the links between the Flys and Pipkins of the early 19th century in Tennessee.

Zilpha Pipkin, who married Jeremiah Fly in Davidson County, TN, 1798, was my ggggg-grandmother. I've never been able to find solid documented info about her past, her parents, or any connection to the larger Pipkin family. Her name turns up in various Pipkin genealogies, but almost always her info seems to have come from Fly genealogies, which have no documentation about her other than her marriage to Jeremiah and their children. Family lore says her parents were Asher Pipkin and Martha Paris, and I've seen that repeated in Pipkin genealogies, but I'd like some actual documentation. Also there were many Asher Pipkins, but no non-Fly info I've found that says an Asher Pipkin had a daughter named Zilpha.

Info about any of this would be appreciated! Thanks! Paul Fly
