All I have is a date of brith if you look him up on the family tree it has Sherwood Blackburn as a John Henderson Blackburn born in 1973 in West Virginia I haven't been able to find any info on his wife either I have no brith date or death date or a maiden name only name I have is florence

Did you mean '1971' or '1973' or '1873'?  If 1973, then he might be living and that is a no-no.
