She is getting an error that her supposed "mother" , Janet Hurst, "
310 Mother was dead before birth".

I do not see in her profile that her mother is Janet Hurst?

What I see is that Janet Wood Hurst  https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Hurst-393 died in 1581, 9 years before Susan was born.  Poor Susan, married 4 times to the same two men.  It also seems that Susan was born 10 years after her closest brother.  Either is she is not connected properly to both parents or there is another marriage for her father https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Wood-5596,  But it doesn't appear she is corrected to the proper mother.

I just skimmed one of the articles that I sent to Cheryl. The article is not easy reading, so I can't claim to understand what I read.

It seems that there are four Halifax parish records of marriages of a man named "Edmund Wood" (apparently there were two different contemporary men with the same name) between 1572 and 1591, including the 1573 marriage to Jenet Hurst. I don't see anything regarding a burial or death in 1581. However, Edmund Wood of Halifax buried a wife on 7 August 1590. Presumably that wife was the mother of Susan.
Hey Kathy, making progress!  poor Susan Wood now only has 2 husbands!  yippee

Cheryl Skordahl has been working hard on straightening out multiple issues with this family. (I know this because I downloaded several fairly recent research articles about the family for her personal use.)

There have been a few merges (not completed by Cheryl) since Cheryl last worked on the profile, so it's likely that some data crept in that's not supported by the recent research.

Thanks, Ellen. I will take it off my "worry" list (-:

Hi,. I have planned to get back to this, but have been working on other PGM profiles recently.  I do have several NYGBR sources/articles from Ellen, for these profiles.  I'll get back to it very soon, thanks for your patience.

Cheryl, I know it's in good hands by you. Take your time. You do so much here with PGMs.
Maggie, It's so nice to have you say that.  Thanks so much.

I'm going to look at the profile now...can't promise how much I will be able to straighten it out at the present.  My grandson is getting married next week, so I have to squeeze in a bit on time on WT whenever I can.
