Who raised Georgia Ann Turner?

Question

Georgia Ann Turner was born in 1855 in Illinois.  I have found out both her parents died close to each other and left her at a young age.  Family raised her.  My question who.  Shouldn't she be listed somewhere in court records?

Still don't know her parents names except Turner died aft 1855 when Georgia was young, could have been other siblings also. Was raised by Uncle and Aunt  there in Illinois.  Don't know if it was her Father's family, or her Mother's family.

dates of birth and where.In 1880 census it shows Georgia  born in Tennessee.Seen familys like this before.Due too railroads in use,hard too

chase people down.

Georgia Ann Turner born Jul 31 1855 in IL (According to Death Record)

died Juy 23 1933 in Hardin,  County Tennessee. (Death Record)

Do not know her parents or siblings. But census records indicate that both her parents were also born in Ilinois.

She married abt 1871 in Tennessee?  to Samuel Cornelius Godwin, son of  William Cornelius Godwin and Isabella Brannon.

The name of the children of Samuel C. Godwin and Georgia Turner were: Oscar Easley, William Alpine, Leona Beatrice, John G., Arrie, and Leonard Causby Godwin..  

Oscar b. Jul 1872 in  Rutledge, Granzier, TN, William ALpine b. 1877 in Carson, Carroll, KY,  Leona B. b. 1879 in KY,  Arrie b. 1891 in KY, Leanord C. bo. 1893 in Hardin County TN.

Only thing found,you may not have,1900 census,looking at document

she had 13 children,9 Living.You could add William abt 1877,Leona, Jan

5 1879.For a period of time   they lived in Arkansas.roughly 1875-1880.

Thanks Wayne Morgan, so many times I have posted and asked for help, and each time there are no answers or comments. I am grateful for your help.  Georgia's child, Leona is my great grand mother, I was 10 years old when she died.  When I begin to question family about her mother, seems no one knew she was a Turner until then.  See Georgia;s daughter Leona had a child Cora born in MS and married Harold Turner. (no relation that we know of)  My Father  Billy Turner had D.NA testing done to help on our Turner lineage search.  Just shocked to know  Georgia was a Turner.  Again thanks for the input! Wayne Morgan-5487, What State did you find Georgia Turner  Godwin in in 1900 Census.  I cannot find it. Wow!! 13 children?  I show 6 in my notes and I have William Alpine, who is the oldest, Leona , is my grand mother. If they lived in AR for that period of time you mentioned, then they probably married there.  I have not been able to find Samuel and Georgia's marriage record yet, but have been looking in Illinois. Curious, but where did you find this information?  You are a great source of information.
