How do I add KIA for a Bunker Hill casualty using the revised categories?

I now have a first-hand account of Jesse Story, Jr.'s death on Bunker Hill, when the British overran the redoubt.  I assume that this is adequate documentation for his death in action. I also have his military unit identified. I'd therefore like to add him to the relevant projects or sub-projects while I finish working on his biography. Since the reorganization of the military and war categories began, he has only the 1776 template and a category for the Battle of Bunker Hill.

Has the reorganization been completed? Is it possible to add all the relevant bells, whistles and decorations to the profile at this point?  I'd appreciate some help with this.

Thanks.

The category would be:

Category: Killed in Action, United States of America, American Revolution

Thank you, Paula.

Is there something I should do with his unit identification?
We usually add the unit and battle categories as well.

I haven't studied his profile but for example, this category:

Category: Massschusetts Militia, American Revolution

I also just forwarded this to our categories liaison, Keith, who is really great at this.
Thank you, Paula!
I am still working on the American Civil War renames, but I did some of the initial renames for the American Revolution as well...

units changed designations as the war went on, with different authorizations and enlistments periods, going between militia, state and continental forces.

I need to do more research, initially it looks like the 24th was a state militia unit of some name on April 23, 1775, became the 24th in June 1775, then became for a short time the 17th Regiment of Foot, also in 1775.the 12th Continental Regiment in 1776, and disbanded in 1777

based on what you have in his profile, and what we have so far with Battle of Bunker Hill on June 17, 1775 meaning without an exact date for militia/continental service change the correct unit is

[[Category: 24th Massachusetts Bay Provincial Regiment (1775), Continental Army, American Revolution]]

For the [[Category: Battle of Bunker Hill]] many of the unit/categories listed as being there were not formed until 1777, two years after the battle, so I need to look into those to see if it was the same unit through the years and change it to the 1775 name of the unit, which has its own category.
Thanks so much, Keith!! I really appreciate all the work you do for us in categories and especially taking the time to help with these questions!
