Did this Silas Stanard live in NY in 1830?

My ancestor Jefferson Brown (b. 1807) is said to have become the adopted son of Silas Stanard, and I believe it is the Silas Stanard who is enumerated in the 1830 census in Durham, Greene Co., NY. I am not certain if both Jefferson Brown's parents had died, or if Silas married Jefferson's mother. I believe Jefferson's mother was Charity Loukes and married William Brown in the Dutch Reformed church of Gilboa, NY on October 10, 1806. She may have died before the baptism of Jefferson on Feb. 28, 1808 at the same church. Wondering if there was any blood relation between Silas Stanard and either the Brown or Loukes families. (The info that the "adoption" took place is from The Portrait and Biographical Album of Racine and Kenosha Counties, WI, 1892, from an article about Jefferson's widow Catherine Simmons Brown, daughter of Conrad Simmons and Maria ? of Durham, Greene Co., NY as of 1830.

I'm sorry that I don't have anything to contribute toward answering your question.  I am very surprised to see that nobody has yet replied to it - I'm sure there are plenty of WikiTree members who would be able to find helpful information for you.  I am posting this "answer" because I see that your question is near the bottom of the list and in danger of getting bumped off the first page soon.  By answering it, the time stamp of my answer will bring it back to the top, where I hope someone (more capable than I am) will be more likely to see it and help.
