What is the evidence for Dorcas Pickard's LNAB? [closed]

Question

Doris Pickard, wife of John Pearson, is shown as the daughter of John Pickard and Ann Lume without quality sources.

In numerous quality articles (shown on her profile), I find her LNAB as unknown. Her supposed mother's will (Ann Lume) does not list her, but lists three other children, one of which would have been Dorcas' brother. Dorcas was still living, and resided in the same town, at the time of Ann Lume's death.

John Pearson, her spouse, is not shown in Anderson's Great Migration series, although they are shown in the Great Migration Newsletter, volume 18, page 19, saying they were among the couples that arrived between 1639 and 1643/4 (maybe neither should be PGM???)

Does anyone have a quality source showing Dorcas was daughter of John Pickard and Ann Lume? If not, I propose we detach her parents.

Dorcas is an ancestor of President Franklin Pierce. Do you "US president Project" people have information pgm is missing?

Thanks for this link. The website you provided doesn't list any sources, unfortunately, and for some of the entries for other people, the website has relied upon family trees on ancestry for his information. He also says that much of what he has listed for Dorcas' possible parents is uncertain, and so he has listed two different sets of parents.

I wish that we could rely on information such as Miner Descent in this case, but the lack of sources make it very dubious in my opinion, especially when coupled with all the quality sources that have not been able to ascertain Dorcas' last name at birth.
