My ancestor went by the name Giles and was born ca 1806 in NC. He had a brother, William Bowers, who went with him to SC from NC. William Bowers was living in Lincoln Co., GA, by 1830. William married Judy Thompson, d/o John Thompson. I'd also like to identify Giles's wife, Rebecca, who was born in SC ca 1810. Giles had two children born in SC -- Mary Ann Bowers, b 1828 in Edgefield Co., and John Bowers, b 1830.
