lost birth of Margaret B H Terry

Question

i have search for a birth of margaret b h terry who was born in 1917. her mother's  maiden name was hunter

i also know she died after 2005 in australia as margaret lightfoot

at a complete lost because she was my partner's aunt who he saw regularly

Hi,

Do you know what State in Aust. she lived in or may have died or been buried in?  Death Certificate may have more information on her parentage details and/or children?  (I have Hunters married to my Mothers' side).  If your partner remembers her address, look up the Census perhaps relevant to her date of death.

she was born 1st august 1917 and died 4th july 2008 in melbourne, victoria

her death has come from her son-in-law who has a tree on ancestry called the cox family, he also has her birth in scotland but she was definately born in surrey, really strange how a birth can disappear

Have you looked also for Baptism Certificate close to her birthdate?  Often on Marriage Certificates they could write anything with regards to their birth details too! Makes life difficult for our end of the stick.  Sometimes people have un-verified information and make error by mistake, follow the Certificate trail and you get the proper piece of the puzzle.  Perhaps the Son-in-law can post Images of what he has certificate-wise or email them to you?  Ask If she had left a will, should generate a response at least.....
