Anybody have a Leach that is Cherokee?

Hi, my niece went to an Abnaki Powwow over the weekend. She found 3 Leach names that were displaced when the Cherokees were forced to move. Just curious if my Maine Leaches are connected.

Any Cherokee who live in Maine would have moved there in the last seventy five years, not as a result of Removal.  The Cherokee are a Southeastern Woodland tribe who were removed from their homes in Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama to Indian Territory (now Oklahoma) in 1838/39.
