Hi,

I am also looking for ancestors of Cherstin (or some derivative spelling) Ersdotter, born in 1783, in Torsåker Parish.  She was married to Per Musköt, a soldier who apparently died in the Finnish War 1808-1809.  Cherstin is the mother of Anders Bergqvist, who was assigned the solider name of Bergqvist when he joined the Kongl. Helsinge Regementes Öfverste Lieutenants Compagnie.  He and Catharina married on 6 November 1831.  She was the daughter of a soldier as well.

Cherstin Ersdotter and Per Musköt may both have arrived in Torsåker in 1807, just before their son was born.

Kerstin Ersdotter in Eltebo, the widow of day labourer Anders Hast, died from chest fever at an age of 63 years, 26 December 1846. Buried 3 January 1847.

Not very informative about her background. There are death notes for 40 individuals on the same page, one line each.
Kerstin Ersdotter and Anders Hast lived at Eltebo from Anders'es retirement as a soldier and until they died.

I'm not finding a marriage record for Kerstin's first marriage, to Per Musköt. Which means they were probably not married in Torsåker.

OK, I was wrong. Found it. I was expecting them to have married after Per Musköt got his soldier's name - because that was usually when these people could afford to get married.

I have created and orphand the profile for Per Musköt.

Another big THANK YOU.   You are truly awesome.
