You need to do your groundwork first. Do you have a death notice? Start there, then you will get an age.(hopefully)
If he immigrated to South Africa, there will be an immigration record. Did you consult that? Unfortunately most of those immigration records are not available online.

I plugged both dates, with the given name of 'Axel Otto' in the arkivdigital and indexed birth records on ancestry.com databases and did not find any 'Axel Otto' born on either of the dates you mention...

I am trying a couple of searches at the indexed censuses at Riksarkivet, SVAR, Folkräkningar. They only have birth years, so that is what I have used. If he was the guy that was naturalized in 1903, he should have been in Sweden in 1890.

Axel Johansson, born 1867, census 1890 - 40 hits, all over Sweden, none of them an Axel Otto. 

For the alternative that he was born in 1883, he would still be a child in 1890. Then he would be in their database only by first name. So Axel Otto born 1883, census 1890, gives only 6 hits, that's more manageable.

#1, #2 and #4 no good matches. The other three might be something, although a bit farfetched.

Well, none of those three sons of fathers named Johan have the exact birth dat 27 August 1883.

That is not impossible to be honest the family does not know nothing of each other and I came late into the family as I was adopted and want to get everything or rather the puzzle together really not nice you know your family comes from a place but where :)

I have looked a bit more in SVAR and Arkiv Digital. The reason for not following up #1, #2 and #4 is that none of them had any good reason to be Johansson or anything remotely like it when they left home.

The other three all have fathers with Johan as one of the names, and so could have used the patronymic Johansson as a surname. Axel Emanuel could also have used his father's last name Jonsson, which is almost Johansson.

Now it turns out that Axel Otto Laurentius used his father's surname, Söder. Otto Axel Teodor used his father's surname, Kalström. Axel Otto Emanuel happened to choose to be Axel Otto Emanuel Nilsson, from his father's first name, not Johansson from his "middle name". So the chances for an Axel Otto Johansson born in 1883 aren't good.

Also, the only one of these three who left Sweden before 1910 was Otto Axel Teodor Kalström, who went to America in 1906.
