MRS. J. W. BOSSE IS PNEUMONIA VICTIM

Wife of Mayor's Nephew Was Weakened by Nursing Three Ill Children

Mrs. J. William Bosse, 1104 East Columbia street, wife of J. William Bosse, nephew of Mayor Bosse, died at home yesturday after an illness of but two days.  She succumbed to an attack of pneumonia.  As she had faithfully nursed her two twin boys aged seven years, and a five-year-old baby boy through serious colds.  Her own ability to withstand pneumonia had been seriously weakened.

Mrs. Bosse was formerly Lyd ? (possibly Lynda) Casper Weber, wife of a principal of schools in Pittsburg.  She married Mr. Bosse upon her return to the city a few years ago.

The private funeral services will be conducted by Rev. W. G. Polack Trinity Lutheran church at the home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.  All friends are invited to the burial services at the Lutheran cemetery at  3 o'clock.

Thank you for giving us that obituary. I'm thinking LYD possibly stands for Lydia. Lydia would be consistent with the time period that Mrs. Bosse was born. I had an Aunt Lydia and we called her Aunt Lyd so possibly that is it.  However, I have no knowledge of this person as belonging in my tree, Bosse's are a brick wall for me.  I hope we will find a connection some day.  Jan
