How to log out of WikiTree is found at https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/230800/cant-seem-to-log-out-of-wikitree

Pre 1700 is a big deal because most of those ancestors (with the most descendants who are active in genealogy) are already in WikiTree.  Too often new users created duplicates of them.

Judy,  tell us a little about what you want to be able to do on WikiTree. Perhaps that is a better way for us to be able to help you.

When you close your browser window you close out.

There are a lot of pluses to working with others on WikiTree because this site as experts in time periods, in DNA, in research, in multiple languages.

We have people who are very willing to help you but not everyone is online all the time.  So you have to post a question.  Be patient and then you generally see an answer in a day.   Depends on where in the world the people with the information live.
