Montgomery-Massingberd, Hugh. Burke's Irish Family Records. London, U.K.: Burkes Peerage Ltd, 1976, p. 281 reported Dorcas Sydney's death year as 1606; though it was reported elsewhere as 1623.

The date of November 23, 1623 is the date of the birth of Dorcus Sydney Cosby's grandson, Charles Cosby, and the death of her daughter-in-law, Helena Harpole, presumably from childbirth. It does not make sense that Dorcus would die on the same day. I vote for the 1606 date.
