Can a pre-1500 person please add Erasmus Ford for me.

I have ancestry for Sir Edmund Ford (1534-1568) but because I'm not pre-1500 certified I can't add it. The father of Sir Edmund Ford is Erasmus Ford (1490-1553), before him comes Walter Ford (born 1445 Penshurst, Kent) his wife is Margaret Leigh (from Leigh of Stockwell in Devon). I'm hoping this pedigree exists already on Wiki-tree, but because I don't have the certification (and probably wouldn't pass the test!) it won't even allow me to click and connect my tree to any existing one. The line that needs extending is from John Ford (Ford-9135). If it's possible could someone with a pre-1500 pass add on Erasmus Ford's pedigree? My own research connects to this family to Carew of Beddington, but of course I may be in error with the marriage to Mercy Carew). Thanks.

This probably needs to be researched a bit better, as I am stumbling across some inconsistencies.  The biggest problem at the moment is John Ford is said to have died in 1568 leaving two co-heiress Magdalene and Dorothy.  Maddalene married her cousin John Ford who died in 1584.  So all of these people probably do descend from Erasmus Ford, but I am not yet clear as to all of the relationships.  http://tinyurl.com/yd7fs5bw

Also Liz, terms such as "of Harting" do not belong on the suffix field and will generate errors.  It needs to just be part of the biography. -  it is a good reason to have a name section in the biography of a medieval profile.
OK, I have added in Erasmus where he belongs.  I was getting a bit confused by the cousin marriage, but have it figured out.  How does John Ford who married Magdalene Ford tie into the family?
It is acceptable --according to the EuroAristo Naming conventions--to put "Of Harting" in the other last names field.  Especially if this was a name he was known by. However, you are correct that by putting it in the suffix it will cause an error and if it is merely a description it would be better placed in the biography.

Aren't Pre-1500 profiles fun :-)
Thank you for your help :-) I still need to edit my sources properly so the 'of Harting' suffix is probably from something I've read in one of the old histories online. I got most of the info from the family tree in the royal college of physicians 'Ford of East Harting' (not sure if I have the title completely correct there - very tired and nursing a broken rib!) but tried to back it up with any other sources I could find. Yes, I have John's marriage to his cousin Magdalene, but I think somewhere I saw her father being listed as a Richard Ford, so I can see the problems in establishing the right lineage. If anyone does eventually work it all out, I'll be very keen to know! Thanks again.
Sorry to bother you again! But could you also please merge Palmer 13847 (on my page) with Palmer 5227 (which I think is the Wiki tree full pedigree for Elizabeth Palmer) Thanks very much for the help!
