Spreadsheet to WikiTable

+7 votes
Does anyone have an app or website that will convert a spreadsheet (GoogleSheet, Excel, etc) to a WikiTable. I want the math of a spreadsheet for the Sprints but want to display it on the page as a table.

I used to have a website (http://excel2wiki.net/) but find that it no longer works.

Give a try to this converter:

(Don't worry about "Input the comma separated text here". Just copy/paste the cells from your spreadsheet).

Exactly what I needed, Rubén. Thank you from me and the Sprinters who would have had to deal with my math challenges!

You could set it up in Excel displayed exactly as you want it, then do a screen capture, save the image, and upload it to display on the page.  That would take about the same effort for you to do as to use a tool to convert it to a wiki table and paste the code on the page.

Thanks, Gaile. I'll keep that in mind if there's not a tool. The advantage of making it a WikiTable is being able to sort by column. That's really helpful when working with the team totals.

I use an Add-On in Google Sheets since I use no other spreadsheet products.  It is called WikiTableWorks.  It does a fine basic table to which I usually add a line or two to make my table sortable or to give it gridlines.

Thanks, J. I'll keep that add-on in mind. I use both Google Sheets and Excel depending on the need but am more comfortable in Excel because it's where I have more experience
