Unlisted Profile > Duplicate Profile?

In adding a mid-twentieth century person, I was, as always, taken to the page that asks you to consider whether a profile has already been created for that person and offering persons with similar names. Two of the suggestions were "unlisted". I don't know how to assess whether this is the same person, perhaps being entered by a person I'm not aware of researching the same family. As far as I could tell, there was no link to contact the profile manager (even anonymously). So I went ahead and created a new profile.

s there someway to contact the manager of the unlisted profile and ask, possibly avoiding duplicate profile (and meeting new cousins)?

Hi Ellen,

Sorry, there is not. Since the Profile Managers have locked it up completely they want total privacy for the profile. (The utility of having Unlisted profiles come up in search/match results is questionable, I know.)
