I feel sooo blond.

Hello WikiTreers........ 

 

I tried before to upload an image to my free space page and to add another profile into  so it would appear as a profile image (thumbnail at the left top) to another profile.

 

Now I uploaded a picture and it is set at privacy to red. I tried everything but I just can't get it set to open. What do I do wrong?

I like to add that same image as a profile image at another free space page. But no matter what I put into the "Add person or free-space profile-box" it keeps saying- Unable to find a Person or Space record for Add person or free-space profile:

I know I do something wrong. First I am unsure on what is the ID of a free space page. As I was desperate and tried to upload the image again of course the warning came that this image is already uploaded and use "link" to add the image. But again I got the unable to message............. 

 

A.) If they're the same, please click to Dutch_Immigrants_that_followed_Hendrik_Pieter_Scholte_in_1847_and_settled_in_Pella_Iowa_USA.jpg and add the WikiTree ID Space:Dutch_Immigrants_that_followed_Hendrik_Pieter_Scholte_in_1847_and_settled_in_Pella%2C_Iowa%2C_USA under "People & Things in the Image". 

Clicking that link is leading to crazyness. :D  It is about this image Mabey unvisable as its privacy is set to red. Grrrrrrr. 

Hope anyone can help on how to change the privacy settings at an uploaded image. 

What is the ID of for example this FSP?

Is the space page you have set up to store your images set to a red privacy level?

Yes Emma. I always upload imges here  Never set to the red padlock. Now it is........... why. Image of 1869 so that ain t a reason

Does it need to be set to red level?  I am thinking this is causing you to not be able to share the photos.

You might try lowering the privacy level to see if you are able to put the photos were you want them

I just do not see how to lower the privacy at he FSP.............. :/ Said I am bond. :D

So the photos are on red privacy somehow.  Hmmmm. I will have to think about this more or hope someone else comes along who knows more.

All other s never got the red padlock just this one.  Something must have triggered WIkiTree to do. Emma thank you so  much for helping and thinking with me but I just think this is a WikiTree thing............ Again thank you so much.

You did not upload that image to the page you set up to store your images.  That page has open privacy, so any images there will display on any profile or free space page that you attach them to.  That page is at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Images_and_info_I_wanna_keep_for_the_profiles_I_am_working_on.

That page apparently is private because I can't get to see it.

By the way, as a natural redhead, when I was working on an artificial intelligence development program, one of my co-workers told me my favorite blond joke:  What do you call a blond who dyes her hair red?

Images are protected according to who appears in them.  We can't see the image page, but it will have a list at the top right which is supposed to be the people in it, and if one of those is Red, the image will go private.
