What is the best way to remove double and triple children/siblings from rofiles

+3 votes
I am not the manager of the profiles for multiple Meyer profiles ( Meyer-3405, Meyer-683 and about 7-8 more siblings), but my DNA came up on them. I am willing to try and remove duplicate siblings but don't want to lose pertinent information. These have come about due to merges as gar as I can tell. What is the best way to go about cleaning these up? Thank you

The only way to make the duplicates go away is to merge them.  Be sure to start with the oldest generation (merge duplicate parents before merging duplicate children, etc).  If you are not the profile manager, you can still request the merge, but you have to wait for profile managers or Trusted List members to approve the merge.  You can also expedite things by asking to be added to the Trusted List.  When completing the merge, all the bio and source information from each duplicate is preserved.  Afterwards, you have to clean that up to removed redundant facts, sources, headings, etc.  Good luck!

If the duplicate sibs are the same person you can propose a merge on the profiles.
