How do I delete a preferred name without having anonymous put in its place?

Change it to the Proper First Name value.

Ok, but if I put the First name value, and want it deleted it refers back to anonymous! Can this be corrected to not show anonymous.

Setting Preferred Name to Proper First Name has the same effect as erasing Preferred Name, so then there is no need to delete Preferred Name.

When I edit an existing profile to change the Preferred Name, I don't see an option to "set preferred name to proper first name." Where do you see that option, Jan?
