It appears that she had a son, JOHN S REXFORD  born on 27 Aug 1774 in Steuben, New York, United States. He died after 1825 in Otsego, Otsego, New York, United States. He married Charlotte Knowlton on 27 Aug 1794 in Mason, Hillsborough, New Hampshire, United States. She was born on 13 Oct 1778 in Mason Town, New Hampshire, United States. She died on 31 May 1864 in Knoxville, Tioga, Pennsylvania, United States.  Her grandson, William Dows Rexford appears to have been born in Steuben as well.   Lydia may have died in Steuben.  Later descendants moved on to Oregon.

Joseph had eight known children, born in CT and possibly NY as Sharon CT was a border community. Lydia Spencer Rexford is the known mother of Ensign, Joseph and John. The suspected mother the remaining five. She apparently died at some time and location.

Joseph's will, dated 25 Dec. 1806 names a wife Abigail, daughters Elizabeth and Lydia, and sons Ensign, Joseph, John and Jesse.

Still hoping to find Lydia's death and location. Also have not located Abigail's death/location either.

Thank you,

Tom Quick
