Hello I'm new on here Im looking for info on mary Delilia Green

Question

Mary Delilia Green born 1849 Spouse John A Green married Oct 18,1865 children are missouri Green (hunt) Father George Andrew Hunt I cant find info on who her parents are Im stuck at her.Deliliah was born in Louisianna. I cant find anymore info on her She is my 3x's great grandmother

I think this is them in 1880 in Black Fork, Arkansas: (Missouri is with them)

"United States Census, 1880," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9YB3-SM49?cc=1417683&wc=QZ27-FNJ%3A1589394996%2C1589395235%2C1589396127%2C1589396018 : 24 December 2015), Arkansas > Scott > Black Fork > ED 172 > image 6 of 7; citing NARA microfilm publication T9 (Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.).

This suggests that they were married in Louisiana-- their oldest child was born there-- then they moved to Arkansas where the rest of the children in this census (including Missouri) were born.

I couldn't find an obvious Louisiana marriage record for them, so the next step would be to seek birth, marriage and death records of their children which might provide Mary Delilah's maiden name. Children were:

1. Marietta (var. spellings), b abt 1867 Louisiana
2. Prota Rosette, b abt Apr 1870 Arkansas
3. Martha, b abt 1872 Arkansas
4. Missouri, b abt 1875 Arkansas; looks like she married A.H. Goodloe in 1900; this marriage index suggests you might be able to find a  marriage record that mightname her mother's full name: "Arkansas Marriages, 1837-1944," database, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F7SN-YM6 : 12 December 2014), A. H. Goodloe and Missouri Green, 18 Jan 1900; citing Jefferson Co , Arkansas; FHL microfilm 983,324.

6. Lee (daughter), b abt May 1880 Arkansas

Darla you can try also just typing into google and other search engines, to find info,  their is many ways you can try, to find the info you need. their is also many other sites you can check and quite a few that are free.  I hope the best for you and your lines.
