another thing on Mary Cliett find a grave if you look you will see the name Edge this last name is also a local name around Piedmont, sc 1940 to this date that I know of, see the Community of Grove Greenville,sc (Piedmont) is on a road called hwy 20 back in the 1950's it was hwy 29 this road was all later changed when interstate 85 come to S.C to connected Georgia and North Carolina the only two roads from Greenville to Georgia went right on each side of my families property,

I see this family in Grove town,Georgia also now back in the day I believe Piedmont and Grove Community, Greenville was called little Italy and  I believe it was a bad place, I don't know this. I was raised in West Greenville I moved down this way 27 years ago but then I seen my dads grandfather Wade Hampton Blackstone 1876-1966 was born in Oconee, S.C (Keowee) I heard he moved to Grove Community and cooked Goat meet maid BBQ out of it and sold Liquor to the local beer joints, now if this is true and my grandfather ate goat meet does this explain my Jewish DNA ,lol I'm trying to fugue to many things out at one time I believe
I guess I can work on some of these names and see where they lead me, but I don't know which one is his parents but I can lieve a not ,I just don't want to open to any doors and not be able to connect them, you know.

Do you have people surname Pickens related to your Blackstone's?

A Rebecca Pickens married Henry Reese

Now the Pickens family I've seen them they was one married my great great great aunt one of Robert Pickens brothers she was a Medlock most of the Pickens boys are buried in the old Pickens chapel on hwy 88 Slabtown hwy this is a lot of my families buried in this cemetery but I don't have a list Rebecca Harris Reese her mother Mary Pickens maybe a connection also Pickens, county is two minutes from my driveway
Your family kept names to reuse so somewheres you're looking for an earlier generation Thomas Reece or a Thomas Blackstone , grandfather, father or brother to the girl who married into the Reese family. The Blackstone's on familysearch and ancestry is almost a hundred plus,  all mixed up with cousins so I just look for Reese in the areas between 1780 and 1809, for clues maybe

They are a Hooper \  Blackstone tree but it is got numerous copy's and it needs someone to merge all of it into one tree, it is a mess all these names that I have been working on that had connections around Golden Grove Community in  Piedmont, Greenville, sc. the Campbells, Thurmonds, Rileys, Hoopers, Blackstones, Medlock, Taylor's all these men are or was big in military and politics and are kin to me on my mom and on my dads side, I have just been trying to get them all connected, all these families is cousins.

My moms stories I wish I would have took notes even some stories my dad told I have long forgot now my grandmother Was a Campbell her cousin was the Governor for a while

I got John Hiram Blackstone est.b.1812 est.d.1850 his wife Mary Blackstone was head of house on 1850 with John Hiram Blackstone Jr 12years of age now we are 99 percent sure that Judith Blackstone was John Hiram Blackstone sr est.1812 mother she is in the 1820 census widowed OK she also had a son Richard Blackstone his daughter we know is Hannah Longstreet Blackstone Riddle from she b.sc died Texas, OK back to Judith Blackstone on the 1820 census (John and Richards mom) with her not on any census 1800 or 1810 in sc they was a Thomas Blackstone he was in the War of 1812-1814 now on the father of this Thomas Blackstone. est. birth 1786 I can't find his father but my DNA matches the Blackstone family of Georgia and they have the same face structures and Blue or Gray colored eyes a very unique color of eyes

Now my Campbell connection is on my mothers and fathers side my Hooper is dads mother, Parker, is my moms mother, my mother was a Spearman all these families been in Old Pendleton District of South Carolina since before 1776 or little after (upstate S.C) Brushy Creek, Abbeville, Anderson, Greenville, Pickens, Senaca, Oconee, Piedmont, Pelzer, Easily, Williamson, Grove Community, Richland, Newberry, Spartanburg,

Hooper and Parker are from Haywood/Jackson ,Transylvania, Sylva, these connection came to Grove Community and Piedmont, sc around 1910 these are grandmothers, and was cousins (mountain people) I've got this much information so far,
another thing about believing that Judith Blackstone was the grandmother of John Hiram Blackstone Jr 1838-1913 is that he had a sister Judith Blackstone Simmons born 1833 and my dads sister is also Judy so we assume it is a family name and she was listed as the only one with boys of age on the census
Now one my dads grandmothers Anne Lee Taylor 1879-1974 her grandfather was James Travis Medlock CSA. now his grandmother was also Campbell connection this Campbell line is a very old name in the state of South Carolina, goes back to the time it was called Washington's District (Cherokee territory) now this is just what I have read if anyone can add to or from this Please let me know but if my Blackstone line is in the Royal line with these other families then Sir William Blackstone that was something to do with the Construction of our laws in the United States is probably my line and I may not ever find this connection because someone has probably not going to share this information because if he is my line that would confirm me being here before this was the United States that would make me a native right? Lol
Hurricane off the coast this weekend  so you can't garden in the rain and now you got stuff to keep you busy LOL
Yes I seen that, Eddie we get our rain from Texas most of the time so I got 41 ducks running around in the yard garden needs rain and all this information is going to help with my time,

                    Thanks
I got a little farm of birds I like my ducks, and chickens I'm a bird person I guess, lol man across the street got horses good thing I don't drink any more or I would go jump on one and ride it to the store
I haven't left the house 25 times this year no need, I go to the doctor sometime get to go to church that's about it.so I got lots of time for research
