A person ended up on my family tree by mistake, how do I remove them?

this is a mistake... I need to remove this family and do not know how or how it got on my tree

Hi Katie, you can go to the "add/edit" to remove the person from both parents.  The link is usually at the top of the page.

or click on edit tab and use add/remove spouse, in the case of a wrong spouse. If the person has no other relationships than with the family you are building a tree for, you can edit their name and dates to make them into the correct person.
