Question

Registration is open for the Source-a-Thon! 

It will be going for 72 hours straight, September 30 - October 2, to kick off Family History Month. We're including Monday so that those who are busy on the weekend can still participate.

Perhaps we could in future consider having validation-thons instead of sourcing-thons, because these are two different issues. Profiles with sources do not make them necessarily valid profiles. Half-cited sources (meaning: not strictly according to citation instructions general and on websites as are specifically stated) do also not validate profiles. And incorrectly added sources can actually de-validate profiles (has happened during the previous thon). So precise "sourcing" instructions should be included (in my humble opinion) in this thon, with specific attention to the detail of "how to add to existing bio's" - for example not removing the <references /> at the bottom.

Can I discourage all, as I like to win this year with our Team, by telling there are great telly series the weekend of 30 september till 2 oktober. I think that weekend all series of the Game of Thrones will be repeated!! Go you all watch Telly! :D :P I even payed all your neighbourgs to start a great but for all a long bbq party. :D

Of course joking!! Come on all! I just threw my priceless handkerchief in the arena waiting for what Jonkheer or Knight of a Brotherhood wins and will pick my handkerchief ........ :D Waiting for my father to tell me who I am gonna marry LMAO.

Whatever. The Dutch are invincable LOL............ Beware!!!!

Can't believe that I had to be told about this by one of my team members!! LOL

I grew up in Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama, USA. I don't know why I always cite my childhood home that way. Too many days on WikiTree I suppose. LOL. I would love to help with the Alabama profiles and source any known from Find A Grave. However, I can help, just let me know.
