Sherbourne, Dorset Churchill link to Winston Spencer line?

Has anyone come across any connection between the Sherbourne,  Dorset Churchills and Winston Spencer Churchill line? Or back to De Courcell?

My family tree traces back to John Churchill in Sherbourne, Dorset in the mid 1700's,  through his grandson Henry (1811). This is where things get murky.  I haven't been able to find a RELIABLE source with John's biodata.

Members of my tree seem to mostly have been labourers and/or traders.

Winston Churchill is here:

Take a look at his family tree and see if any of the names look familiar.

The  ancestor of the  famous Churchill family did buy an estate near Sherborne. Some including Charles Churchill, are buried in the little village church at Minterne Magna.

The next article has a few errors but shows how there are other more ordinary folk with the Churchill name in Dorset.

http://www.dorsetlife.co.uk/2015/04/the-first-sir-winston/

The last article mentions that  the Churchill family goes back  to a Roger de Curcille who is supposed to have come over with the Conqeuror  This supposed  pedigree of the first Duke of Malborough is  known to be incorrect  (probably fraudulent) The 19th C editors of Hutchin's History and Antiquities of Dorset write "The truth is, the first of the Duke of Marlborough's family from whom we can trace his descent with accuracy is John Churchill his grandfather" (ie the first profile I linked to)

However, there is also another important group of Churchills  living in and around Dorchester from the end of the 16th C. ( but unfortunately this line is a bit muddled on wiki-tree at the moment)
