Can you take your email off of the post? Don't want spammers getting you. :)
What is the name of this Civil War private? Do you have his birth year, marriage year, and or death year? Where was he born, married and where did he die, state, county and or city? Answers to these questions can help pinpoint the person and possibly lead to the kind of information you are seeking.
Something is wrong somewhere.  The person in the linked profile was born in the 1930's, therefore could not have been a participant in the Civil War.
