As a new person to wikitree, it would be a huge help to have abbreviations or terms explained - what is ppp, what is a "Magna Carta surety", what is a Gateway Ancestor?  Maybe added to help category?

Oh, my gosh - thank you all so much for the answers - what a help! I was kind of lost with the lingo - been working on my Genealogy for 50 years, alone, so there is a lot here that is new - I love how everyone works together here - love WikiTree! Thank you all.

Gateway ancestor is a term used in genealogy. It means that when researching a family tree you discover that one of yourancestors is descended from royalty, the aristocracy, or landed gentry.

I don't know what PPP means in genealogy. Others do and will likely answer that part of your question.
At least here, on WikiTree, PPP is Project Protected Profile
