Rubén is correct, the template has known countries/branches that were involved, if you spell it differently, to include using a different case, the template code cannot match the country/branch data to the appropriate flag.
if you look at the template, it has a chart of the countries and the branches of service in each https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:World_War_II
we try to have the flag, and names, match what was used for that war. if you see something wrong, such as a different flag image for that period, or needs to be added, a country or branch not listed, let us (Project Leaders, or me) know and we can update the template code to accept the corrected data.
Karen, with the profile now open... I see that you have several biography information lines above the ==Biography== header, you should move those below it.
Also, you have {{WW II}} which is a project box as well as {{World War II}} which is the sticker. A profile box should only be on profiles that are managed and/or project protected by that project, which does not appear to be the case for this profile.
