My daughter and I have taken DNA tests through MY Heritage, trying to figure how to add them to my profile?

I would like to thank everyone with their help and patience, i have accomplished the upload to GEDmatch, (had to red-ownload @ Heritage in unzip form for it to work) So my daughter Sandy Kesterson and my DNA test are processing !!! Yeah success. thanks again for the instructions and patience.

You will need to add your test to your profile and separately add your daughter's test to a profile created for her.  Go up to the tabs at the top and click on the one that says Add +  The first choice is DNA Test information.  On the select DNA drop down, choose My Heritage.  

You will note that there is nothing to add except a Gedmatch ID because My Heritage doesn't have kit #s.  Have you uploaded your DNA to Gedmatch.com?  If not, I highly recommend you do.  It is FREE and it is a wonderful tool for comparing your DNA with others regardless of where you tested.  You will also get 100s if not 1000s of matches. AND it is linked to WikiTree.  I would do this first (it takes 24-48 hours to fully upload at Gedmatch).  Then come back and enter the Gedmatch ID number when you enter your My Heritage test.

You don't upload anything from My Heritage to WikiTree. We enter information about the tests.  And like I said, the My Heritage option only has one box-which is a Gedmatch ID-- (unless you use the write in box and include your name under which the test was taken).  But I hope you will take advantage of Gedmatch.  It will make your test information useful to everyone, including those who have not tested at My Heritage.
