Hello, Donnie,

If you go to the profile you want to research and scroll down the page there will be a link under the comment box to research that person. RootSearch is a great tool.I always start with looking on FamilySearch on the page that pops up. This time two census records for Russell Blackstone immediately popped up in New Hartford, Oneida New York.

1830 Census

1840 Census

His father Edward is living in the same area and it is very likely Russel was still in that household in 1820. For some reason the page Edward is listed on in that census is not indexed on FamilySearch. He was in Whitestown, Oneida, New York in 1820.

1820 Census (this leads directly to the image)

Hope it helps.
