Thank you for helping delve into the mystery Fischers that came to America in about 1835. My Great Grandfather changed the spelling on his last name to Fisher. He was a Hotel owner in Memphis Tn in the 1870's. He came from Prussia. He married my G Grandmother Hulda Sawyer  in Illinois.

Thanks

Sandy Fisher Broussard
