A village on the river Shannon in Ireland.

Castleconnell is a small village in Co. Limerick, Ireland.  It is located about 10 mile east of the town of Limerick.  The Connell (O'Connell) family is also associated with Ballycarbery Castle a couple of miles from  Cahersiveen, County Kerry, Ireland.
