Happy Labour Day! It seemed like a good day to let people know what we’ve been up to on the Ontario Project, to ask members what they’ve been working on, and to invite those interested in the province to join us.
First, kudos to Ken McEvoy for his work on Toronto’s Mayors — 57 profiles!
Alexandra Carter is working on a new free-space page, Lost Villages of Ontario. This joins two other free-space pages: Talbot Settlers (59 profiles so far) and York Region Settlers (65 profiles).
Our Notable Ontarians category continues to expand. If you have an Ontario ancestor who has a Wikipedia entry, we’d be happy to add him or her to our list.
Finally, in case you missed it, the 1921 Census is now available at Library and Archives Canada. Thanks JN and Greg for that wonderful news.
