How to enter Hispanic names in genealogy

How are Hispanic names added to WikiTree name fields.  Compound surnames; some with hyphens, some not.  Multiple middle names.  Mother's maiden name in a man's name, etc.

Thank you.

I assume you have looked at http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Name_Fields and found it to be of no help with this problem. I have a similar problem with arabic names, like the hispanic names there is genealogical information in the name and with the different ways names are displayed on different pages it can sometimes get the names displayed wrong.

I am interested if someone can suggest a way to get these consistently right, I have put off entering some of the more complex names because I do not want to cause offence to family members.

To be truly a world tree wikitree needs to move away from the preconcieved ideas based in US/UK minds, not everyone has a first, middle and last name and they are not always in that order, many cultures put the familt name first and the persons name second.

I would also like some guidance on this, before I get too far down the wrong path if I'm not doing it correctly.

Now, assuming that hispanic name customs are similar enough to how it's done in Brazil, here's an example of how I handled it for some Brazilian profiles I've created.

Milton Gomes Costa's Family Tree

So, for Last Name At Birth, I used "Gomes Costa", which is made up of the paternal part and maternal part. Now this might not be the best example since his father Oscar seems to not have followed the rule, but the paternal part, Costa, did get passed to Milton.

The profile for Milton's mother, Leonila, shows how I handled the name change due to marriage, so last name at birth in this case is "Azevedo Gomes" and the current last name became "Gomes Costa".

To me, this seems like the best fit for the available name fields. Anyone else have a different idea on how to handle this?
