I am looking for a connection to George W. Tisinger (circa 1800 in GA)

Question

My name is Stan Tisinger and I live in NC. I have roots back to Upson County, GA. My grandmother was Lexie Jones Tisinger who died at 110 in 2003 in Camilla, GA. We suspect we are related to the Tisingers in the Shenandoah Valley and probably to the Tysingers in NC. George W Tisinger appeared in Upson County GA sometime around 1800. He named his son Robert Smoot Tisinger, so we suspect Smoot may have been his wife's maiden name.

I have a DNA profile at FTDNA and have found four close matches of my Y-DNA. None were Tisingers.

Any help would be appreciated.
