Can someone source this profile? [closed]

This profile was identified back in April as part of a fraud.

I find today that it has been reconnected to the main tree, a contributor created a "daughter" using a Familysearch tree and myrootsplace as sources. No other source, no comments in the change log, no G2G post.

My first movement was to disconnect, but I reverted that and left all in place.

Can someone find a correct source for this relation? (Before advising us to "find a definitive source that this is a fake" PLEASE check the Goodman Genealogy Fabrications category and count the profiles in it.) This is endless. We will never have a chance at a decent tree if we allow such profiles to stay, as those that are linked to this one.

If the profile is found to be valid, then its relations must be checked until the link to the fraudulent genealogy is found and action taken to destroy the connection between fake and legit profiles.

Also, can someone with knowledge in the subject check the coat of arms?

Thank you.

EDIT: Also please check the profile of  his father, Elliott-3012. The portrait is "The Painter and his Pug", an auto-portrait of William Hogarth, in 1745. This person, John Elliott, whose portrait is the portrait of William Hogarth in 1745, is 21 degrees from Sam Houston, 18 degrees from the Queen, etc.

EDIT - Retagged.

The linked tree on Family Search has completely different parents albeit also unsourced.
Ah. This is odd.

Thank you! I really enjoyed this !
Why would anyone want to adopt a profile categorized fraudulent? The first thing to notice here is that we have the child of a Covenanting (fiercely Protestant) exiled Scottish Elliot married to a Catholic O'Kelly during a period in which these two factions were actively engaged in murdering each other. Not very likely.

On the other hand, Griffith's Valuations of the mid 1800s does record 20 land holdings by various John Elliots in Donegal, revealing long standing a presence in that county.

Mabey someone of the Irish Project can help out Isabelle? The leaders are  Maria Maxwell and Leigh Murrin. You can message them if none will help here!

But before you do please tag Irish_Roots and Ireland at your question! I am Dutch so not of any help :)

Happy Treeing!

I have left a note on this profile explaining the historical improbability of the family profiled here.
