geni.com presents a court case involving the widow Elizabeth Horn vs. her son Christopher via transcripts only; there is no case citation.  Given the transcript listed under the profile which doesn't agree with the profile's timeline, it's apparent that Mrs. Horn was still alive in  1803.  The case's judgement was in her favor.

The case doesn't make reference to her maiden name nor her ethnicity.  So it might apply to either Barker-6596 or Unknown-369977.

I did some poking around the Madison County court information that is online. It appears that the books covering court records for that period are available at the Madison County Court House.

I have tried to work with local resources on these types of things in the past, with limited success. Unless you live in the area or know someone who lives in the area, it might be a bit challenging to get a copy.
The substance of the court case is listed on geni.com under the profile of Mrs. Elizabeth Horn (allegedly born in the HRE),  the specific legal citation is missing which would give the reader information to corroborate the transcription presented on geni.com.  I''m assuming it is a real court case.  The court citation needs to be added to our profiles of Mrs. Elizabeth Horn.

I live in Washington State, which is not close to Madison County, Kentucky.

I saw your post and I thought I could help but I will try to give it my best;  I went online and this is what I found in google.com.

Also go thru google.com and put in Descendants of Johann Krofft Horn

Christopher Horn Sr 1752-1837 whose first name is John Christopher Horn first started out in Maryland and that may be where he married Elizabeth. The lawsuit had to do with Christopher thinking he was entitled to a big part of his dad's estate and his mother did not want him to take it.  I really had a nice time reading the biography of the Horn's online thru google.com.

If you need more help then let me know and I will try to help.  Nancy
