I take it you mean Valentine Whalls, of Blackrod, Lancashire who married Catherine Green on 24 September 1753, Wigan, Lancashire. (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NNNY-69M)

Two children are particularly noted Thomas b1755 (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NY5X-Y8P) & Pattey, b1760 (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:J347-GFW). Both were baptisted Blackrod, St. Katherine, Lancashire

Thank you: yes, you're right. I'm especially keen to find information on Valentine W[h]alls's parentage and place of birth. My suspicion is that he travelled from Scotland during the Lowland Clearances or the Jacobite Rebellion. Walls is a Scottish name, http://gbnames.publicprofiler.org/Map.aspx?name=WALLS&year=1881&altyear=1998&country=GB&type=name and there are many Scots associated with Lancashire (e.g. places that acquired the name of Little Scotland).
