My Teske ancester, Wilhelm Teske, emigrated to Canada from Grunewald, Pommern, he was born in 1823, and emigrated from Germany in 1861. I do not believe he was born in Grunewald but came there from somewhere else. I was given info on his first marriage that it took place in Gramenz, on Nov. 7, 1851. Do any of your Teske ancestors come from Gramenz? or surrounding areas?
