How can I safely change my email address?

I had a yahoo email address that was closed by yahoo with their security issues.  I only now found that it had been used when I had first signed up with Wikitree.

Hi Bridget :)

When you go into edit your own profile, there is a section for email - when you change the email there you also change it for your login and WikiTree emails.

Thank you for your answer.  I did try to change the email address there but found this message right below 

Caution: Changing this e-mail address will change your WikiTree login. Removing it will deactivate your account and you will not be able to make any further changes to any profiles. See Closing an Account.

It is just warning you that it will change your login - you never want to remove the email because, like it says, it will deactivate your account which you don't want.

But don't worry, you can go ahead and change the email that is there.
