My brother took an Ancestry DNA test, would his results be helpful in my profile?

If you administrator his DNA you can attach it to him on your tree. That's what I did with my Dad and maternal uncle. I'd definitely do DNA for yourself too!  I have recently sent my husbands brother a Y-DNA test so we are hoping to break through a few Dailey brick walls of our own! (We did FTDNA and joined the Daly Surname Project!) he had already done the autosomal Ancestry test for us! Blessings!!!

Hi Ralph,  As Robynne said, his test must go on his profile.

I recommend that you do a yDNA37 marker test on FamilyTreeDNA.com.  That will give you information specifically about your Dailey paternal line. You can join the Daily DNA Project if you have a FamilyTreeDNA.com test.  Here is their website:  https://www.familytreedna.com/groups/dally/about

Your brothers DNA results must go on HIS profile!!

But they could still be useful to you.

It would be even better if you also had your own DNA test done as well.
