How do I find my Gedcompare Report?

I have once again followed all the instructions and received no email. This problem occurred before the new format of GedCompare 2.0. I find that my report is complete but how on earth do I get to it??

Lori Humphrey's fens.ged

    • This is not the only GEDCOM file you've uploaded. (If you have created profiles from another GEDCOM recently, be especially careful not to create duplicates. GEDCOMpare may not catch recent additions.)
  • The original fens.ged file is 3139167 bytes. (View it "raw.")
  • It contains 3913 individuals.
  • The earliest person was born 1290. (See Pre-1500 Profiles.)
  • There are 460 sources.

You can delete your GEDCOM at any time but this is generally not necessary. Files are automatically deleted after 30 days.

Your assistance is appreciated. Thanks

Have you tried to go to it through your own profile, clicking the "Changes" tab? There should be an entry like "You uploaded xxx.GED for GEDCompare" Click the .GED link and it should bring up your report.
I have exactly the same issue. Very frustrating! Can't seem to find GEDCompare anywhere. The only options I see are to 'View it Raw" or to Delete it.
At the bottom should be a large white on green button in all caps reading "YOUR NAME'S XYZ.GED COMPARE" - pushing that should get you to your report.

Thanks Helmut but regrettably there is nothing. This is all it says at the bottom (above the footer):

You can delete your GEDCOM at any time but this is generally not necessary. Files are automatically deleted after 30 days.

Same as original post above all mine shows is:

On my page there is

Your GEDCOMpare report is ready.

Helmut Jungschaffer's loidolt.GED GEDCOMpare

after the "GEDCOMpare Report: Complete" line.  Could it be that you still have some matches to reject or approve so that the system doesn't recognize the report as ready?

I have no matches whatsoever.
Can anyone help me?  I'm really feeling stuck and frustrated. Ready to give up on WikiTree.

I click the fens. ged and it just takes me to the page showing that the report is complete but doesn't show me the report. There are no links to the final gedcompare report. Am I missing something???
Hmm I know that is how you use to be able to bring up your gedcom. I would suggest contacting info @ wikitree.com would be the best solution. They now have a new gedcom system.

This is beginning to be a futile attempt once again. I still have received no response from my email to info@wikitree.com What is the expected response time?

This is the way things went prior to this new updated process. Doesn't anyone that developed the new process have a clue here?? I do understand it is beta but I would like to understand how to get the email with directions to the Gedcompare report. Is there something wrong with my gedcom? I use family tree maker.

Suggestions??

Hi Lori,

I'm gonna tag another tag on your question and send an email perhaps you will get some feedback.
Update!

So I went back deleted all options (didn't really look at it before) ie. media, notes, sources. Made a new Gedcom file and it went through like magic. Maybe this is the key to my issues. In Family Tree Maker the options during an export default checked. Anyway, hopefully this helps someone else.

Once again my frustration is based in "User Error". Live and learn! Thanks for tolerating!
So, Lori, are you saying that you deleted the GEDCOM that you had uploaded, then went back to where you created it...MyHeritage, Ancestors or wherever? Then made a new file and that worked?  Why does it tell us it's complete if we can't find it? I don't get it, but I don't get a lot of stuff in my old age :)
Yes, thanks for asking Andrea. I would really like to know and figure this ou too!
I could be spending my time researching and rebuilding my tree instead of wasting all this time with a supposedly easy conversion.  Arrrggghhh

Yes! It's very frustrating. I tried doing what Lori did - deleted my GEDCOM file and reloaded it. Same result. It says it's complete but then nowhere to go.  Up in this thread someone suggested this...

At the bottom should be a large white on green button in all caps reading "YOUR NAME'S XYZ.GED COMPARE"

But I do not have any buttons at all. It just says it's complete but no tools to do anything with it.
